Take a good look at John Jerry.
The Ole Miss Rebel is disappearing fast...literally.
In his playing career, Jerry admits to weighing as much as 360lbs. He played last year at 340lbs. Now? A slim 328 and dropping fast.
Meanwhile, his strength is still there.
John Jerryùnot his brother Peria, not Michael Oherùholds the Ole Miss bench press record with 34 reps of 225. If he repeats that number in his combine workout later ...

Posted: 25th February 2010 by Michael Schottey in NFL
You don't know Brandon Carter.
People think they know Brandon Carter. They see the tattoos, the face paint, the Mohawk, the general antics.
They peg Carter as a malcontent, a troublemaker. The Texas Tech guard has been labeled as "risky," a "gamble," and has "character issues."
But the young man took to the Combine podium on day one and really only one word could describe him: "respectful."
Honestly, that trait stuck out ...

Spiller was the 2009 ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and Dwyer received the same honor in 2008. Both are two of the best running backs the ACC has had in recent years, but being a great collegiate running back doesn't always translate into being ...

Posted: 25th February 2010 by DeAnte Mitchell in NBA
The Golden State Warriors has been one of the worst teams in the league this year.
The possibility of Golden State making the playoffs are very slim so the Warriors should be looking forward to this June.
With a powerful backcourt in Stephen Curry alongside Monta Ellis, the Warriors are not in need of any guard. The forward position is what needs to be taken care of. The Warriors currently have ...

As you start making your mock drafts for this year's 2010 NFL Draft, and you're thinking about Dez Bryant, he probably ends up in your 10-15 pick range. But don't count out the Buccaneers at No. 3 to snag Bryant earlier than expected.

In the photo above, some of Ethan Moreau's fine handiwork is on display. Moreau upends Mike Weaver behind the Blues net.
The Oilers' captain Moreau is one of many players rumoured to be on the way out of Edmonton. It appears that even the players have no idea what is going on, even leaning on media guys like Robin Brownlee for trade rumours.
Strange days in Edmonton.
Fernando Pisani is rumoured also to ...
