Posted: 5th January 2010 by Michael Fitzpatrick in NFL
Ok, so itÆs a little shocking that after a 5-0 start to the season, the Giants proceeded to lose five of their next six games.

Fellow Giants fans, we never saw this one comingàbut we probably should have. ...
I am not an A's fan. Have nothing against them but I instead cheer for the Phillies. The past few seasons IÆve done top 10 prospect lists for the Phillies and decided I would do one for the entire league to better expand my horizon on the prospects in MLB so here we go. OaklandÆs top prospects from a Phillies fan:

Posted: 5th January 2010 by Josh Roth in NBA

Or players that consistently put up big numbers, but never make any flashy plays, they are just fundamentally sound? Or how about the guys that the media seems to forget because of the position and/or the location of which they are playing? There are so many ...
Give Me Ten Minutes With Bill Cowher and He’ll Come To Buffalo
Posted: 5th January 2010 by John Howell in NFL
That's right, give me 10 minutes with Coach Cowher. I don't care where, as long as I have a monopoly on his attention and he can't leaveáuntil I've had my say. Put me in the urinal next to him, on an elevator with him, in a shared cabùit doesn't matter. Just give me the opportunity for a brief intervention.
That's right, I said intervention. That's what we call it when we ...
It's playoff time baby!
After 17 weeks, 23,896 mentions of Brett Favre, and two undefeated seasons down the drain, it has all come to this. There are now 12 teams with a chance to win football's highest prize: the Super Bowl.
Trying to pick the winner is almost impossible. Who would have seen the Giants beating the Pats two years ago at the beginning of the playoffs? Nobody. It's a crap shoot. ...

Last year it was Felix Hernandez, Aaron Hill, and of course, Zack Greinke.
Who will it be on 2010? Well, I have compiled a list of the top ten most likely players to ...
The Washington Redskins finished the year 4-12 and earned themselves the fourth pick in the draft. New coach, new GM, new direction?
Jason Campbell should be worried about having a starting job next season.
Campbell has started 51 games in his career since being drafted in 2005. Many fans will point to his status as a first-round pick in relation to his production as reason to call him a bust. Those same ...

“Beat LA! Beat LA! Beat LA!”
Anyone that has attended a Bay Area sporting event where the away team is a despised squad from Southern California has heard and hopefully partaken in this cheer.
There is no love lost between Southern and Northern California and fans from each region have no problems giving a willing participant an earful on why their brand of California is so much better than the other.
The ...
