Tennessee Titans: a Tale of Two Teams, a Mutany, Or Something Else?
Posted: 30th November 2009 by Eddie Garrison in NFL
The Tennessee Titans, after starting the season of with a very disappointing and surprising 0-6, have run off five straight wins to get their record to 5-6 and given themselves some sort of hope to even, dare I say, make the playoffs.
But who is this team?á
Where did they come from?
Where did this play come from?
Is this not the same Titans team and players that couldn't catch the ball when Kerry ...

CARDINALS - TITANS REPORT CARD
It was a crushing defeat! It was the kind of defeat that gnaws at you ..eats at you. What happened today in the shadows of Graceland will be tough to get over. It takes time to recover from a loss like this. Who knows how long it will take? ..or what toll it will take?
I'm referring to the Cardinals faithful, of course.

I've had the weekend to think it over but I still can't make sense of the decision to bring up Erik Karlsson and send down Brian Lee. I understand the theory that Karlsson is a "Murray Guy" while Lee is a left over from the Muckler era but I really felt like Lee had earned his spot on the NHL roster. More importantly, I just don't think the ...

Last night, the Pittsburgh Penguins demolished the New York Rangers 8-3 at the Mellon Arena. It was the largest goal total the Penguins had put on the board since a 9-2 obliteration of the other New York-based team that dated back to nearly a year ago.
Although, through the first two periods, the game was very tight. The Rangers had even made it a 4-3 hockey game early in the third ...
How many 49ers fans remember the "one-day wonder"? It occurred in 1991, when the team announced that its helmet logo would change from "SF" to "49ers."
Hell fire and brimstone hailed down upon the storied franchise as fans and media blasted the doomed proposal, which was dropped as a serious proposal after a single day.
Some faithful saw it as a sell-out in anticipation of what they thought would be the ...

What Would Mike Holmgren’s Return Mean For the Seattle Seahawks?
Posted: 30th November 2009 by Chris Cluff in NFL
If the Pro Football Weekly report regarding Tim Ruskell is correct, could Mike Holmgren really be on his way back to Seattle after just one year away?
And if Holmgren is indeed coming back, what then of coach Jim Mora? What would HolmgrenÆs return mean for the franchise?
It would certainly be another odd turn of events in a front office that has been full of turmoil this decade, going from Holmgren ...
